Australia pledges US$10 million for polio eradication

At the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) replenishment meeting in Abu Dhabi on November 19, 2019, Australia committed A$15 million (US$10 million) over three years through 2023.

The conference raised a total of US$2.6 billion overall. The largest pledge came from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a total of US$1.1 billion, with the UK following in second place at US$515 million.
