Dutch Minister Kaag attends conference on ending child labor in global supply chains

On January 27- 28, 2020, in Leiden, the Dutch Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment participated in the 'Taking next steps' conference. The meeting was organized in collaboration with the International Labour Organisation, the Global March Against Child Labour, and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) to share best practices, challenges, and lessons learned to end child labor in global supply chains.

Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Sigrid Kaag, who recently asked the Kids Council for input on how her ministry can do more to combat child labor, met with a group of children to hear their advice on the matter.
