Japan provides ¥133 billion (US$1.2 million) loan to support Bangladeshi transportation and infrastructure

Japan pledged to contribute ¥133 billion (US$1.2 million) in support of Bangladesh's infrastructure for a wide range of transportation projects and the introduction of energy-efficient machinery.

Among other projects, the loan will go towards multipurpose commercial port construction, urban high-speed rail construction, special economic zone development.
