South Korea and Indonesia meet to discuss future of bilateral assistance partnership

Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Korea Eximbank of South Korea held the 4th Korea-Indonesia Integrated ODA Policy Dialogue in Jakarta, Indonesia on August 29, 2019. The dialogue was organized with the goal of enhancing understanding of the two countries’ development cooperation policies, comprehensively reviewing grant and concessional assistance projects in Indonesia, and discussing future plans.

Indonesia is a priority country of South Korea’s ODA and a key partner country of South Korea’s New Southern Policy. Both sides also discussed ways to contribute to Indonesia’s national mid-term development plan (RPJMN 2020-2024), including cultivating new ODA projects.
