Spanish development agency debates private sector involvement in sustainable development

Spain’s development agency AECID hosted a discussion session in Lima, Peru, aimed at encourage private sector engagement in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Organized by 'Foro Visiones', an initiative led by the Spanish chamber of commerce in Peru to generate a dialogue on sustainable development and corporate responsibility, the event gathered government officials from Spain and Peru, academics, non-governmental organization (NGO) affiliates, and private sector representatives. Participants agreed on the importance of strengthening links between governments and private corporations in order to advance the 2030 Agenda.
