France hosts launch of Global Fund replenishment campaign

French Minister Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian hosted the launch event for the Sixth Replenishment Conference of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund) campaign, officially kicking off efforts to gather resources for the Global Fund's 2020-2022 period. France hosts the replenishment conference in Lyon on October 10, 2019. 

Attendees included Peter Sands, Executive Director of the Global Fund. Charles Gomis, ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire in France, and Pr. Hakima Himmich, president of the non-governmental organization Coalition PLUS. The session was moderated by Stéphanie Seydoux, the French ambassador in charge of global health issues.
