Japanese government announces winners of Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize for global health research

The government of Japan announced the winners of the third 'Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize', honoring researchers in global health in Africa.

This year, Dr. Jean-Jacques Muyembe-Tamfum from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Dr. Francis Gervase Omaswa from the Republic of Uganda received the prize for the medical research category and medical services category respectively.
