Norwegian prime minister reappointed as co-chair of SDG Advocate Group

Norway's prime minister, Erna Solberg, has received an extension of her position as co-chair of the United Nation's (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Advocate group. The reappointment was endorsed by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. She has been co-chair for the last six years, taking up the position soon after being elected. The role will see her working with the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to provide a road map for dealing with global issues.
