Netherlands amends development budget, allocating additional US$14 million

On May 31, 2021, the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Sigrid Kaag, published a bill to amend the development budget.

The bill, which is part of the annual spring memorandum, increases the budget for Foreign Trade and Development by €12 million (US$14 million). The budget for the policy article Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and HIV/AIDS is increased to combat COVID-19 in low- and middle-income countries, and fund new SRHR partnerships.
