South Korea holds 43rd Committee for International Development Cooperation

On November 4-15, 2022, South Korea held the 43rd Committee for International Development Cooperation (CIDC).

In the committee, members worked to decide the new government’s ODA priorities for multilateral cooperation and private-sector engagement.

In tandem with South Korea’s increased contributions to multilateral cooperations, the committee planed to increase contributions to international organizations, in addition to promoting international organizations' projects and expand private partnerships.

For private sector engagement, the government will seek to mobilize financial support for ODA projects and promote South Korean companies’ participation in development cooperation projects.
