South Korea provides US$1 million for relief following exploson in Lebanon

The South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) announced that it will contribute US$1 million in emergency humanitarian assistance to Lebanon in light of the recent massive explosion that took place in Beirut on August 4, 2020.

Through a MOFA press release, South Korean President Moon Jae-in expressed his condolences to the victims of the devastating blast. MOFA also underscored South Korea's ongoing assistance to Lebanon which has included a major focus on support for Syrian refugees.
